Highlights of activities
As a regional teaching hospital in the Zouying area, we not only leverage our own burn care capabilities but also undertake the responsibility of educating the public within the community. We believe prevention is better than cure. To enhance public awareness and knowledge of burn prevention and treatment, our burn team organizes 10-12 community burn prevention and education campaigns annually. These events, led by nurses from the burn center, have received significant positive feedback from the community.

2023/05/16, 18, the burn prevention and education outreach the Zou-Hsin kindergarten.Since 1996, the burn medical team has collaborated annually with the Childhood Burn Foundation of Republic of China to organize a burn child summer camp. The goal is to observe the behavior and group interactions of scalded children during the activities, identify further issues, and assist in their subsequent physical, social, and psychological rehabilitation. The aim is to help these children return to normal school life as soon as possible.
