The Department of Orthopedics at Zuoying Armed Forces General Hospital is dedicated to the care and treatment of patients with disorders of the musculoskeletal system. Our medical team continually advances surgical techniques and updates medical equipment to provide the highest quality of diagnosis and treatment.
Scope of Services：
Trauma and Disorders of the Musculoskeletal System：
- Fracture and joint dislocation reduction surgeries
- Arthroscopic surgery and ligament reconstruction for sports injuries
- Minimally invasive arthroscopic procedures for arthritis, cruciate ligament injuries, and meniscal damage
- Treatment of joint dislocations and tendon or ligament injuries
- Management of herniated discs, spondylolisthesis, spinal stenosis, and scoliosis
- Treatment of avascular necrosis of the femoral head and various joint replacement procedures
- Treatment of spinal disorders, lower back pain, and sciatica
- Correction of congenital deformities, post-polio deformities, and trauma-related deformities
- Surgical removal of bone and soft tissue tumors
- Treatment of acute and chronic osteomyelitis
- Growth factor injection therapy, prolotherapy, and articular cartilage regeneration techniques
- Extracorporeal shock wave therapy (ESWT)
